Transform your Surveillance Cameras into Level Sensors

The WPF is a specialized electronic box that converts images from river or water surveillance cameras into level measurements.

Associated with a limnimetric scale, it analyzes the images and automatically provides a precise level measurement that can be read by an acquisition system.

Applications

  • Water level monitoring of streams and bodies of water
  • Flood risk prevention (possibility of alert by the acquisition station)

Main benefits

  • Proof of measurement and alarms by also transmitting images
  • No maintenance, no risk of drift or disturbances (false echoes, 4-20 mA signals, immersed sensor membranes)
  • Works day and night
  • Undisturbed by precipitation (rain, snow, etc.)
  • Energy efficient
  • Open and secure protocol for interfacing with any acquisition system (Modbus)

Specifications

  • Specialized processing of images to convert them into level measurements
  • Compatible with the majority of IP cameras and measuring stations
  • Robust and adapted to the most severe climatic conditions (-30/-40 to + 60 degrees Celsius)
  • Parameterization via integrated web interface
  • Modbus TCP digital protocol for control and supervision by external acquisition system
  • Power supply 12V, by solar panels, batteries or 120V source, Maximum consumption 350 mA (with 1 camera connected)
  • Maximum power consumption 350 mA (with 1 camera connected)
  • Capacity of 1 to 4 cameras
  • Dimensions: 255.5 x 105 x 31 mm, Weight: 0.8 kg
